LISTEN: Billy Lee announces huge returns to Football panel

Less than 24 hours after it was announced that Billy Lee would continue in his post as Limerick manager, the Newcastle West man has confirmed the return of two players to the panel.

After a year long absence for different reasons, Danny Neville and Josh Ryan will be back with the county team in 2020.

Neville was an integral part of the squad since his debut in 2014.

Neville was in sensational form for Ballysteen in 2019, notably notching 2-9 from play against St Senans in the groups stages.

Ryan has also been in impressive form for Oola this summer with his side advancing straight to the knockout stages with a 100% record.

Speaking exclusively with Sporting Limerick’s Raffaele Rocca, Lee said,

“Getting fellas back. Thankfully we have Danny (Neville) back and Josh Ryan is coming back.”

However, Lee has been dealt a blow with the departures of key players Sean McSweeney and Darragh Treacey as well as the continued absence of Paul White.

“We’d like to have them but unfortunatley thats not the case.”
