LISTEN – Billy Lee taking positives from Laois game heading into Carlow challenge

Limerick senior football manager Billy Lee hopes that his side will have learned from their opening National League defeat at the hands of Laois when Carlow visit the Gaelic Grounds this Sunday.

Lee says despite the score line, Limerick will have plenty of positives to take away from the game.

“They (Laois) were, on the night 3-4 points better. We started to chase the game late on and left ourselves open. It’s not something I’ll be too worried about.”

The Limerick boss is hoping for an open game against Carlow, who recorded an opening round win over London.

“The game was moved to the Gaelic Grounds so it might suit us, it might be a bit more open.”

Listen to Lee give his thoughts on the upcoming game below.
