LISTEN: Declan Nash “we need to turn that 45 minute performance into a 60 minute performance”

Limerick will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing opening round loss to Kilkenny having lead by two points at half time.

Declan Nash feels there was plenty of positives in the game and is hoping that his side can maintain their performance levels for the entire 60 minutes. With Galway and Kilkenny looking very strong in the group, Limerick know the Clare game is a must win if they are to advance as one of the three sides to the playoffs.

Nash says the didn’t dwell on the loss to Kilkenny and are solely focused on Clare at the weekend.

“On Sunday morning it was recover and we put it behind us a little bit, then on Tuesday it was going through things in a bit more detail, where it fell down, where it worked and let everybody be aware of where it broke down and what worked and trying to see if we can prevent that stuff from breaking down against Clare on Saturday.”
