LISTEN: John Kiely “I’m really proud of these boys & I know they’ll respond next year”

Limerick’s reign as All Ireland Champions came to an end on Saturday evening following their heartbreaking 1 point loss to Kilkenny.

Speaking to the press in the aftermath of the defeat John Kiely was disappointed with the result but happy his players had given it everything.

“I’m really proud of these boys & I know they’ll respond next year”

Limerick never got ahead of Kilkenny in the game and Kiely felt that had the managed to get level in the latter stages that they might have pulled through.
