Limerick will meet Clare in the Munster Championship quarter-final after the draw was made last Friday night.
The winners will be declared 2020 League champions and will move on to face Tipperary in the Munster semi-final.
For John Kiely, having something to aim for is a huge positive for him and his squad as they await the greenlight to return to intercounty training.
“It’s great to have a fixture list. It’s great to have a route forward and we know exactly what lies ahead. We just have to be patient at this moment until we get a chance to put the shoulder to the wheel.”
And with the three month absence of GAA now behind us, Kiely spoke about what he missed the most during the lockdown.
“I’m just looking forward to getting back and meeting the boys. Watching matches, the joy, excitement and buzz of it. Back to normality.”
