LISTEN: John Ryan fully focused on Saturday’s league semi-final

Limerick take on Fermanagh on Saturday in the Division 4 National Ladies football league semi-final.

Limerick were victorious over Fermanagh in the group stages but finished level on points with the Ulster side in the group.

After that group game, manager John Ryan is wary of the threat they cause in front of goal.

“To deal with a side like Fermanagh, you have to ensure the area around the goal is well mashalled at all times.”

After defeat at the same stage last season Limerick were defeated by Louth and Ryan will be eager to avoid the same outcome this time around.

Ahead of the game, Ryan is focused on Fermanagh only.

“We’re not looking at the final, we’re just looking at this game. Trying to get over the semi-final and drive onto the final, one game at a time.”
