LISTEN: John Ryan wants to move on after ‘turbulent week’

Limerick Ladies Football Manager John Ryan is keen to just get on with planning for next season after being reinstated in the role that he was removed from last week.

Last Thursday, it looked that Ryan was on the way out just six weeks after leading Limerick to the All-Ireland Junior title but at an emergency meeting of the ladies football board, Ryan was voted back into the job by delegates.

“The public and the players really showed their appreciation for the work over the last 12 months,” Ryan told Sporting Limerick Sports Editor Raffaele Rocca this Thursday morning.

“It was turbulent for the week but now it’s done and dusted. We need to move on from it. The big thing now is to build a panel of players for the National League which starts in the first week of February.
