LISTEN: Treaty Talk S02E10 with Sporting Limerick and Matt O’Callaghan

The past week has seen plenty sporting action across the county with the Limerick SFC to the fore. Last years champions Adare and finalists Newcastle West are the only sides with 100\% records after the opening two rounds. With the weather causing fixture disruption, there are still two games to be played with St Kierans hopeful of joining the two aforementioned sides on two wins when they face St Patricks on Sunday. We got Matt’s outlook on the opening rounds of the competition.

Matt also looks forward to the Limerick Ladies football League semi final against Louth next weekend.

This weekend sees a number of U21 hurling games with Doon vs Na Piarsaigh in the Premier U21 semi-final down for decision as well as the U21 A and B finals also taking place.

Also we discuss the story of a found Harty Cup final medal from 1925 which was posted duiring the week on the Friends of CBS facebook. The medal belongs to a B O’Brien who is yet to come forward.
