Livestream | Both Limerick SHC semi-finals to be broadcast live this weekend

The Limerick SHC semi-finals will be played 24 hours apart this weekend.

And Limerick GAA TV will be at both with each game being broadcast live from Kilmallock and Bruff respectively.

On Saturday afternoon, South Liberties will play their first SHC semi-final since 1985 when they take on championship favourites Na Piarsaigh in Kilmallock. That game throws in at 3.30pm.

Twenty four hours later, Burff will host the clash of Doon and Kilmallock in a repeat of last year’s semi-final. In 2021, Kilmallock came out on top, avenging the defeat at the same to stage to the same opponents the previous year.

This year will be the first since 2016 that Doon, Kilmallock, Na Piarsaigh and Patrickswell aren’t the final four, with South Liberties eliminating the ‘Well last Sunday in the quarters.

Kilmallock are reigning champions with Na Piarsaigh seeking a first success since 2020, which was a sixth title in ten years. Meanwhile, South Liberties have to go all the way back to 1981 for their most recent championship win. Doon are yet to claim the title, losing a pair of finals in the past four years.

This year’s decider is set to take place on Sunday October 30 in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
