Major boost to sporting clubs in Limerick as Sports Capital grants announced

Eight sporting organisations across Limerick have received excellent news this morning after learning that their grants have been given the go ahead by the Sports Capital programme.

Limerick GAA are set to be the biggest benefactors to the tune of €113,100, with the full total between the eight organisations to hit over the €400,000 mark.

Crescent College Comprehensive School in Dooradoyle are to benefit by receiving over €50,000, while Limerick Boat Club, Newcastle West RFC, Kilmallock GAA Club and Pallas United AFC also going to receive grants.

The full list of grants is as follows:

Limerick GAA – €113,100

Kilmallock GAA – €83,400

Newcastle West RFC – €54,000

Tournafulla GAA – €51,600

Crescent College Comprehensive – €51,000

Limerick Boat Club – €37,400

Pallas United – €35,200

Staker Wallace GAA – €9,500
