Michael Conlan to honour the late Kevin Sheehy this Saturday

This Sunday, WBO Intercontinental Featherweight Champion, Michael Conlan takes on Diego Ruiz in Falls Park, Belfast for the WBA Intercontinental title.

On the night, Conlan will wear special shorts commemorating the memory of the late Limerick boxer Kevin Sheehy who was tragically killed earlier this month.

The shorts have ‘RIP KS’ written on them in honour of the late St Kevin Boxing Club fighter.

Sheehy’s coach Ken Moore said,

“Incredible gesture from Mick Conlan RIP KS on his shorts for this Saturday night fight in memory of Kevin Sheehy. Class act all round. A true Irish champ.”

Conlan will be looking to make it twelve wins from twelve in the Professional ranks this Saturday.
