Mike Catt to join IRFU Coaching Staff

The IRFU has confirmed that Mike Catt will be joining Andy Farrell’s coaching ticket after the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Catt currently has the role of Italy attack coach under Conor O’Shea and is expected to take up the same role under incoming Ireland boss Andy Farrell.

The Former Bath player and 2003 Rugby World Cup winner held a similar role with England between 2012 and 2015, during which spell he worked alongside Farrell.

It is understood that Catt has signed a contract with Ireland which will take him up to the 2023 World Cup.
