Mixed day for LDSL sides in u-15 National Cup

There was a mixed set of results for Limerick sides in the u-15 National Cup on Saturday afternoon with two sides exiting the competition while Fairview Rangers defeated Everton AFC in Cork this afternoon.

The Fairgreen outfit were 1-0 victors over their Cork counterparts thanks to a goal from Josh McCarthy and will now face St. Francis of Dublin in the last 16 of the national competition.

In Dublin, Aisling Annacotty U-15’s took part in a thrilling game against Dublin nursery St. Kevin’s Boys. The game finished 2-2 after 90 minutes with the St. Kevin’s winning 4-3 on penalties as nothing could separate the teams after extra-time was played.

Shelbourne AFC came up against a very strong College Corinthians side at Shelbourne Park on Saturday afternoon and were on the wrong end of a 4-0 score line. All sides can be proud of their displays and reaching the last 32 of the prestigious competition.
