The annual Limerick Charity Cup match takes place this Friday night at 7pm in St Mary’s RFC. St Munchin’s are the hosts in the third year of the event.
This year St Munchin’s have named the Children’s Grief Project as their nominated charity.
This organisation is truly inspirational and life changing and undertakes such great work to support school age children (primary and secondary) affected by loss through death, divorce or separation. (www.childrensgriefproject.ie).
Tickets will be available in the coming week through our own school and through Crescent Comp with student tickets costing €4/€5 and adult tickets €9/€10.
It promises to be an enjoyable family night out and doubles up as supporting such a worthy cause. So many have been affected by loss and the help and support that they have received from Sr. Helen and her team in the Children’s Grief Project.
On the night the winning team will be presented with the “Herbert-Conneely” Cup. The cup was named after two great teachers and stalwarts of school’s rugby, Sean Conneely of St Munchin’s and Dudley Herbert from Crescent Comprehensive.
