Munster Final: Time and Ticket information

The LIT Gaelic Grounds will host its first Munster Hurling Final since 2016 in two weeks time when Limerick will face Tipperary in the showpiece decider.

This will be Limerick’s first ‘home’ Munster final appearance since their incredible triumph against Cork in 2013 which is also their last success in the competition.

The Limerick minor hurling will also be gunning for Munster final glory on the 30th as they face Clare in the curtain raiser.

Despite losing to Tipperary in Thurles yesterday, Limerick finished level on points with both Cork and Clare with the Treaty side’s superior point differential seeing them qualify to play Liam Sheedy’s men in the final.

The minor game will have an early start with throw in at 11.30pm, a half an hour earlier than their regular games with the game to finish on the day with extra-time and penalties if needed.

Limerick were 0-16 to 0-13 victors over the Banner when they met in the round-robin stage just over a week ago.

The senior final will throw in at 2pm with Limerick seeking a first win since 2013 and Tipp looking to regain a crown they last won in 2016, in the Gaelic Grounds.
