Munster Junior Cup 4th Round Draw complete

There are some interesting draws involving Limerick District League sides in the 4th round of the Munster Junior Cup. The draw was completed by the Munster Football Association on Monday afternoon on social media. The dates and times of the fixtures will be announced in due course.

There are two all-Limerick ties taking place with Pike Rovers hosting Regional United at Crosagalla. Pike last won the competition in 2018 when they beat Janesboro on penalties at Jackman Park.

In the other all-Limerick tie, Fairview Rangers will face Ballynanty in what promises to be a very tight game. The sides met in the league a few weeks ago with the Fairgreen outfit running out winners.

Prospect Priory will be looking to make the most of their fourth round trip to East Cork to face Coachford as they suffered late heartbreak in the FAI Junior Cup last weekend with an extra-time defeat against Tolka Rovers. Wayne Colbert has built a solid squad who have managed to reach the ‘out of town’ stages in both competitions while they are competitive in the bottom half of the Limerick District League Premier Division.

Current Munster Junior Cup champions Aisling Annacotty face a tough trip to Waterford to face Carrick United who have history in the competition. Division 1A side Carew Park have enjoyed a strong cup run including defeating Premier outfits Mungret Regional and Nenagh along the way and they travel to face Drinagh Rangers.
