Munster Head Coach Johann van Graan has named a 27 man squad for the provinces Pro14 game with Toyota Cheetahs this coming Sunday in Bloemfontein.
Van Graan has included four Academy players (Gavin Coombes, Liam Coombes, Sean O’Connor, Shane Daly) in the touring party that will base themselves in Johannesburg for the game against a team that Munster beat 38-0 in the first game of the season.
Munster travel to South Africa on the back of a dramatic victory on Saturday evening against Glasgow Warriors in Thomond Park – Rory Scannell’s last ditch penalty goal sealing a 25-24 win.
In other news, six Munster players have been named in a 26 man Irish squad that travels play Italy in Chicago this weekend. Dave Kilcoyne, Tadhg Beirne, Niall Scannell, Joey Carbery, Darren Sweetnam and Andrew Conway could add to their international caps in Ireland’s first game of the Autumn Internationals this Saturday.
