Munster schools Senior and Junior cup draws confirmed

The games will be played next week, 22nd January onwards

The draws for the next qualifying round of the Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cups have been made following yesterday’s final first round fixtures between St. Munchins College and Bandon Grammar School.

This round will decide who will go on to meet the sides who were victorious in the opening round of fixtures, in the quarter finals.

In the Junior cup, Bandon Grammar, who lost to St. Munchins yesterday, get a bye into the quarter’s whilst Glenstal Abbey will face St. Clement’s and Ardscoil Ris will face Cork opposition again as they travel to PBC.

In the Senior Cup, St. Clement’s get a bye into the last eight with local rivals Ard Scoil Ris and St. Munchins facing off for a place in the quarter finals. Rockwell college, who were defeated by Glenstal on Wednesday, will play host to Limerick’s Castletroy College.

All these fixtures will be played next week, the week beginning 22nd of January, with venues and times yet to be confirmed.
