Munster’s Heineken Cup Fixtures confirmed

Munster’s Heineken Cup fixtures for the coming season have been confirmed by the EPCR. Johann van Graan’s side face French champions Castres Olympique and English heavyweights Exeter Chiefs and Gloucester in Pool 2 of the competition.

The first game will see Munster travel to face Exeter at Sandy Park on Saturday, October 13, at 3.15pm. The sides also clash next Friday at Irish Independent Park with a 7.30pm kick-off. Munster’s second game will see Gloucester visit Thomond Park on Saturday, October 20, for a 1pm kick-off.

The December double-header against Castres Olympique will see Munster host the French champions at Thomond Park on Sunday, December 9, at 1pm. The return fixture at the Stade Pierre Fabre on Saturday, December 15, will have a local kick-off time of 6.30pm (5.30pm Irish time).

Munster travel to face Gloucester at Kinsgsholm in the penultimate Pool game on Friday, January 11, with a 7.45pm kick-off time. The final Pool game will see Munster host Exeter Chiefs at Thomond Park on Saturday, January 19, with a 5.30pm start.
