Both sides came through their respective Limerick SFC semi-finals on Sunday afternoon.
For the third time since 2017, Newcastle West and Adare will contest the Limerick Senior Football Championship final.
Each were victorious in their semi-finals on Sunday afternoon, Newcastle West seeing off Monaleen with Adare following suit with a win over Fr Caseys.
Diarmuid Kelly got the decisive goal for the defending champions while it was Shane O’Connor that hit the net for Adare.
The sides will meet on November 6 seeking Limerick SFC glory in a third final meeting of the teams in six seasons.
So far, each have won one contest, Adare providing the shock in 2017 in their first year back in the ranks before Newcastle West gained revenge last October in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
Both teams have remained perfect throughout the championship, winning each of their five group contest to qualify directly for the semi-finals.
For Newcastle West, they are one game away from retaining their title for the first time. The five time winners had never reached the final as holders prior to Sunday’s win over Monaleen. It will be their 12th ever final with seven of those coming since the turn of the century.
Adare are back in the SFC final for the fifth time in just six seasons since winning the Limerick Intermediate Football Championship in 2016. They won their maiden championship in ’17 after defeating Newcastle West in the final, following that up with wins in 2018 and ’20.
The venue and time is yet to be confirmed for the November 6 clash.
