No fresh injury concerns for Munster ahead of top of the table clash

Munster began their preperations at UL today for Saturday’s Guinness Pro14 top of the table clash with Glasgow Warriors at the Scotstoun.

The medical team were happy to report a clean bill of health following the weekend’s hard-fought win over Ospreys according to the club’s official website.

James Cronin suffered no ill-effects from his return to action following a knee injury and there was good news also for Dave Kilcoyne with a scan indicating his knee injury is not as bad as first feared. He will continue to be monitored by the medical team.

Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus says that today Munster will partake in an idoor session and believes that all those involved in the win over Ospreys will take part. “We have a 6-day turnaround so only 5 days of preparing, today will just be indoor and it doesn’t look like anyone will sit out.”

Erasmus also confirmed that he will not be calling on returning Lions Conor Murray, Peter O’Mahony and CJ Stander for the game.

JJ Hanrahan (shoulder), Duncan Casey (groin) and Sam Arnold (calf) will all progress to full training this week.

Continuing to rehab: Gerbrandt Grobler (ankle), Conor Oliver (shoulder), Dan Goggin (knee), Ronan O’Mahony (fibula), Dave O’Callaghan (knee) and Darren O’Shea (shoulder).
