Munster loosehead prop Dave Kilcoyne insists that the pressure doesn’t ease after a Champions Cup game with leaders Glasgow Warriors next up for the province this weekend.
Kilcoyne, who was named in Joe Schmidt’s Irish squad for the Autumn Internationals this week, says that Glasgow have shown how good they are this season, especially away from home.
“They have beaten the Cheetahs, they have beaten Connacht away from home, they are top of our conference, so, unfortunately we don’t have the luxury of doing well in the Heineken Cup and resting on our laurels. We are in to a really must win game.”
Kilcoyne went on to add that Munster have to improve their discipline if they are to have any hope in being involved in the business end of the season.
They conceded 10 penalties in 14 minutes towards the end of that 36-22 Gloucester Champions Cup win and it is a frustration for the group as a whole.
