In Saturday’s qualifying session, a crash cost the Limerick racer a few vital seconds by his time was still good enough to secure the fastest run making sure he would be the last man off the start gate on Sunday.

Early morning practice on Sunday was followed up with some food and a quick turnaround to prepare the bike for action.
