ODDS | Price cuts for Na Piarsaigh, Kilmallock and Doon as Limerick SHC group stage concludes

Just six teams remain in the running for the 2022 Daly Cup title.

Na Piarsaigh are still the team to beat in the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship according to the bookmakers after the group stages came to a close.

The 2020 champions remained unbeaten throughout to finish top of the pile, their draw in the final round proving bringing their 100% record to an end with their place in first assured prior to throw in.

They have seen their odds cut slightly in to 8/15 from the 4/6 price they started the championship at.

Kilmallock, the defending champions, have also seen their odds reduced from 3/1 to 11/4 after they joined Na Piarsaigh in the semi-finals with a draw over Doon proving enough in the final round.

Doon, who missed out on a semi-final spot on scoring difference have moved into 4/1 from 9/2 as they prepare for a quarter-final outing with promoted Kildimo Pallaskenry who finished top of group two. The City side can be got at 25/1.

South Liberties can be got at the same price as they booked their quarter-final spot against Patrickswell who have fallen to 14/1 from 9/1 despite their final round win over Adare.

The other six senior sides were eliminated from the reckoning in the final round over the weekend.

The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of October 8/9 with the semi-finals the following week before a fortnight’s break to the final on October 30.
