O’Donoghue swaps Prospect for Janesboro

Prospect Priory have announced that manager Daithi O’Donoghue has left the club to join Shane O’Hanlon as joint manager of Janesboro Football Club.

Aidan Ryan had a hugely successful partnership with O’Hanlon at Pearse Stadium for the past three years, winning three league titles and an Oscar Traynor Trophy. However, the club have been looking to fill the void since Ryan’s departure two weeks ago.

O’Donoghue has strong links to Janesboro and rumours began to circulate that he would return to the club despite taking over at Premier Division rivals Prospect this season.

An announcement on the Prospect Priory Facebook page stated; “We would like to wish Daithi O Donoghue who stepped down as manager of our A-Team today the very best of luck in his new job and thank him for his services… PPFC”
