One-Sides Games Aplenty in Premier Division

Aisling Annacotty preserved their 100% record in the Premier Division with a relatively comfortable 3-0 win over Mungret Regional. Liam Quinn continued his fine goal scoring form from midfield and Shane Clarke and Shane Stack were also on the mark.

Kilmallock suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Fairview Rangers who were in no forgiving mood, winning 0-7. Eoin Duff scored a hattrick on a rare start for the Fairgreen based side. Martin Deady scored on his debut following a move from Coonagh United. Jeffrey Judge, Shane Duggan and Russell Quirke all scored a goal apiece to round off a comprehensive win.

Pike Rovers were 6-2 victors over Coonagh United at Crosagalla. Steven McGann x2, Danny O’Neill, Colm Walsh-O’Loughlen, Conor Layng and Kevin Barry accounted for the goals for Robbie Williams free scoring team. Gordon McKevitt and a wonder goal from 40 yards from Sean Hartney replied for Coonagh.

Ballynanty Rovers secured a 0-5 win against Nenagh AFC at Brickfields. Adam Costelloe opened the scoring for the away side before Eddie Byrnes doubled the lead. Dermot Fitzgerald, Jake Dillon and Arron Nunan added further goals for Dave Dunphy’s team.
