Ospreys receive welcome boost ahead of Munster clash

Munster welcome Ospreys to Thomond Park this Saturday in the Pro 12 semi final as heavy favourites.

Ahead of the game however, it has been confirmed that Lions lock and Welsh captain Alun Wyn Jones will be fit for the Welsh club.

His return will come for a boost for the Ospreys, who have lost 5 of the last 6 competitive games in the absence of the influential lock.

Wyn Jones picked up a shoulder injury  against France in the Six Nations and was expected to return for the final Pro 12 game a fortnight ago.

His return is a timely boost, not only the Ospreys but for Warren Gatland who is a big admirer of the lock and is tipped to start the first Lions test against New Zealand .

Munster will be wary of the impact of his return but Rassie Erasmus will be confident in his sides ability to get the job done.
