Three members of the last years All Ireland XV that beat Kilkenny are retained in the form of captain Kyle Hayes, Barry Murphy and Thomas Grimes. Hayes is the only member of the side with senior inter county championship experience.
Mike Mackey, Oisin O’Reilly, Conor Boylen and Josh Adams all saw game time in the U21 championship last summer. Seamus Flanagan starts at full forward, where he has been so impressive for John Kiely’s senior side this Spring.
Clare have also named their side to face Limerick. Throw in at Ennis is 5.45pm on Monday. The winner will face Tipperary in the semi-final.
