Pike Confirm Additions of Grant and Collopy

Pike Rovers have continued their recruitment drive ahead of the 2020/2021 season with the additions of former Janesboro and Carew Park players Aaron Grant and Brian Collopy on Tuesday night.

Pike Rovers confirmed the news on their official Twitter and Facebook pages with pictures of both players next to manager Robbie Williams.;

“We are ‪delighted to welcome Aaron Grant & Brian Collopy to the Hoops this evening. They will be great additions to the panel.‬”

Both players will join Kieran Hanlon and Danny O’Neill at the club as both players signed for the Hoops over the weekend.

Grant began last season with Janesboro before transferring to Geraldines in September. However, following a very brief spell with the Garryowen club, he returned to Janesboro before the cancellation of the season.

Goalkeeper Brian Collopy is a well known figure in junior soccer circles having spent time with Limerick FC between 2008 and 2010. Collopy also lined out for Carew Park at junior level. The experienced goalkeeper will be expected to provide competition for Gary Neville.
