Pike Rovers FAI Junior Cup Final Time and Venue Confirmed

Limerick District League side Pike Rovers will take on Waterford outfit Villa FC in the 2022 FAI Junior Cup Final at Turners Cross on May 22nd with a 2pm kick-off. Turners Cross is the home of Airtricity League side Cork City. The venue hosted the final during Pike’s last success in the competition in 2011.

The Hoops reached this month’s decider following a 1-2 victory over Oliver Bond in Richmond Park last Sunday. Evan Patteterson and Eoin Hanrahan accounted for their goals while Villa FC enjoyed a 4-1 victory over Salthill in the other semi-final encounter.

It will be Pike’s third final appearance in seven years and Robbie Williams will be hoping for third time lucky as the Hoops lost the 2016 decider to Sheriff YC before losing the 2018 decider to North End United on penalties.
