Pike Sign Conor Layng

Pike Rovers have completed the signing of former Galway United striker Conor Layng on Thursday evening. The striker will provide more options for Pike manager Robbie Williams who is still without Johnathan Grant and has Kieran Hanlon as his only option.

Layng and Williams played together at Galway United in 2018 in the Airtricity League First Division. The Hoops announced the signing on the clubs official Facebook page.

“We’re delighted to announce the signing of ex Galway United forward Conor Layng to the club. Conor will be a great addition to the squad and we look forward to seeing him wearing the Hoops.”

Layng will be eligible to make his debut in the upcoming away game against Mungret Regional in the Limerick District League Premier Division.
