Limerick have home advantage in their Munster quarter-final tomorrow.
Kevin O’Hagan’s minor hurlers will be in action for the third successive week as they aim for a place in the Munster semi-final on Tuesday evening.
Standing in their way is Waterford as the sides meet in the quarter final stages of the championship in Kilmallock at 6.30pm.
Limerick were overturned in their maiden game of the year, losing out 4-21 to 2-14 to last years All-Ireland champions Cork.
O’Hagan’s side replied in style with a 5-24 to 0-4 win. Darren Collopy was the star of the show with 2-8 (0-6f) while Mark Field, Fintan Fitzgerald and Tadhg Houlihan also found the net.
That set up a clash with the Deise who were beaten in both their contests, a two point loss to Tipp before Clare claimed a 1-22 to 1-8 win.
Clare meet Kerry in the other quarter final with Tipp and Cork already assured of their last four places.
Limerick have had an incredible record at the grade since reaching a first Munster final in 29-years when Richie English captained the side to honours in 2013. Since then they have missed out on the final just twice, 2017 and last year, winning four titles in that span.
If Limerick are successful on Tuesday, then they will take on one of Cork or Tipp on May 3.
