Three time NFL Defensive Player of The Year J.J Watt was in Limerick this week and took in a round at the redesigned course at Adare Manor.
Watt of the Houston Texans is a superstar in his field, the the defensive end is a 4-time Pro Bowler. In 2017 he was honored with the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award after helping to raise more than $37 million for people affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The Wisconsin native who also played a round at Lahinch Golf Club described Adare Manor as “one of the most beautiful places” he’s ever been.
Watt was visited Limerick for a wedding at Adare Manor and had high praise for the golf course calling it “probably the nicest course I’ve ever played”.
