Four of the final six spots in the Intermediate championship are confirmed with two games left to play after difficult weather conditions.
The atrocious weather conditions played havoc on the final round of the Limerick IHC with two of the six games postponed.
Nonetheless, four of the last six spots have been confirmed with each of the final round games in group one played over the weekend.
Croagh Kilfinny, who were assured of a semi-final berth regardless of their final round result, fell to a maiden defeat of the campaign with Kilmallock running out 2-12 to 0-14 winners on Sunday.
That result paired with Knockaderry’s defeat to Hospital Herbertstown means the West Limerick side must now face into a relegation play-off.
The win was enough for Hospital to seal that final quarter final place, owing to their superior scoring difference over Pallasgreen and Kilmallock.
Bruree ensured second spot with a comfortable win over Pallasgreen.
In the other group, there was just one game played as Croom got off the mark to send Feohanagh into the relegation play-off following their 1-18 to 0-12 victory.
