QUIZ | Name the Limerick XV that defeated defending champions Cork in the 2003 Munster Football quarter-final

Limerick picked up a historic win over Cork on this day in 2003 as they went on to contest the Munster final.

On this day, nineteen years ago, the Limerick footballers picked up arguably their greatest victory of this century when they defeated Cork 0-16 to 0-6 in the Munster Football Championship Quarter-Final.

The Rebels were reigning Munster kingpins and had not tasted defeat against Limerick since 1965.

However, in Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Liam Kearns side dismantled the home team who couldn’t find their rhythm against a ferocious Limerick outfit.

Limerick held a 0-10 to 0-5 lead at the break and would only allow Cork one further score in the second half as they secured a comprehensive 10 point victory.

Limerick went on to contest the Munster final later that year, falling to Kerry and unfortunately repeating the trick a year later.

But today, on the anniversary of the game, we want to see how many of those players can you name?
