Rampant Limerick book Munster U21 final spot

The Limerick U21 hurlers made little work of Clare in the Gaelic Grounds this evening winning comprehensively on a scoreline of 1-28 to 1-15.

In truth the game was never in doubt as Limerick got off to the dream start holding a commanding 1-10 to 0-2 lead within 10 minutes.

Colin Ryan and Kyle Hayes were once again excellent for Limerick but man of the match would have to be Aaron Gillane who had 13 points, 8 from play.

Limerick can now look forward to a home Munster final on July 26 against either Cork or Waterford who play tomorrow.

Match report to follow.
