Doon saw off a determined Kildimo Pallaskenry side to book their place in the Limerick SHC semi-finals.
A third quarter blitz was enough to see off a dogged city side by virtue of a 1-20 to 0-19 result.
They will play either Kilmallock or Na Piarsaigh in next weekends semi finals.
Dean Coleman netted the only goal of the game after 37 minutes to put Doon 1-13 to 0-11 ahead.
KP did lead by one at the break 0-9 to 0-8 with free takers Shaun Barry and Coleman doing most of the damage.
Adam English came on at the half and took over the free taking duties, adding a couple from play also in an impressive cameo.
Doon’s largest lead was six with twenty to play but KP refused to lie down.
A Shaun Barry sideline and one from Darren O’Connell had it back to four points.
Kyle Hayes then got in on the act with an exceptional score from the sideline with Cathal Downes reducing the margin to two with five to play.
A Barry free had it back to one but two fr English restored their lead as Pat Cummins finished the scoring for Doon to secure the win.
