It will be a repeat of the 2017 final after the Balbec secured their spot today.
Kilmallock and Na Piarsaigh will contest the 2022 Limerick SHC final after the former were victorious in their semi-final today.
A last minute Robbie Egan goal swung the contest in the Balbec’s favour as they won out 1-13 to 2-9.
Doon led by seven with ten to play, Dean Coleman flicking to the net after some nice work by Darragh Stapleton.
But Kilmallock rallied with Conor Hanley Clarke imperious over frees in monsoon like conditions.
Egan’s late intervention came following a long free from Barry Hennessy that dropped around the square with the Kilmallock man quickest to react and break Doon hearts.
Doon did lead 1-6 to 0-5 at the interval, Stapleton getting the goal with the East side proving more adept at dealing with the difficult conditions.
Kilmallock now move on to face Na Piarsaigh in the October 30 decider as they seek to defend their title.
Yesterday, the Caherdavin outfit were 1-23 to 0-9 winners over South Liberties.
