RESULTS | 3Dental Limerick Ladies Senior and Intermediate Football Championships down to the final four

The 3Dental Limerick Ladies Football Championships continued over the weekend with the top two years down to the final four.

St Ailbes and Old Mill booked their place in the last four as both came through their respective quarter-finals. Defending champions, St Ailbes, who are seeking a three in a row, overcame St Brigids with goals proving crucial. They now move on to face Monagea in the semi-final, a repeat of last year’s final.

Old Mill will play Ballylanders in the last four after they beat Feohanagh Castlemahon by a solitary point on Sunday. The West side are now just one game away from the senior final, three years after winning the junior title.

Those semi-finals take place on Sunday November 7.

The Intermediate Championship is also down to the last four with Oola and Murroe Boher coming through their respective ties. Oola were too strong for Fr Caseys, overcoming the Abbeyfeale outfit by 4-15 to 2-5 while Murroe Boher outlasted Knockainey with a 2-12 to 3-7 win.

Oola will take on Mungret in the semi-finals with Murroe facing last year’s champions Dromcollogher Broadford.

In the Junior A championship, there was nothing to separate the top two of Adare and Galtee Gaels while Monagea and Croom continued their 100% start to the competition to ensure a semi-final spot with a round to play.
