RESULTS | Last four in the Limerick Football Championships decided after quarter-final action

There was also a double header of relegation play-offs in the SFC and JAFC.

The semi-finals of the Limerick Football Championships have been finalised after the weekend’s quarter-final action across the top four tiers.

In the SFC, Fr Caseys ended their thirteen-year wait for a knockout stage win with a convincing victory over Kildimo-Pallaskenry. Monaleen joined them in the last four with a two point victory over St Kierans as they reach successive semi-finals.

They join Newcastle West and Adare in the semi-finals with the fixtures scheduled to play on October 23rd.

Meanwhile, Ballylanders got the better of Galbally in their relegation play-off with a 2-16 to 1-11 victory after extra-time. The game was 1-10 apiece at the end of normal time but Ballylanders went up a gear to end Galbally’s five-year stay in the SFC.
