“Saturday is a great opportunity for us” – Caoimhe Costello

Limerick senior camogie captain Caoimhe Costello is relishing the prospect of taking on Tipperary on their home patch in Saturday’s All-Ireland quarter final.

Declan Nash’s side finished third in the group stages of the 2019 Championship and Costello is fully aware that there is a big prize on offer if Limerick can come out with a win.

“There is excitement, there are nerves but you just get on with it. It’s part and parcel of the game.

“If you work hard it sets the precedent for every other thing that you are going to do throughout the day. That’s definitely something that we focus really hard on.

“Getting the attitude right and making sure that everyone is working hard and doing what they can for Limerick and get over the line.”
