Second Postponement of Treaty United and Cork City

Tuesday night’s re-arranged Women’s National League fixture between Treaty United and Cork City has been postponed once again as a precaution over Covid-19 concerns.

The suspected Covid case involves a close contact of a senior member of the Treaty squad and the club informed the FAI of the situation. It is the second time the game has been called off in a week after Storm Ellen caused the cancellation of the fixture last Wednesday evening.

Treaty have not yet played at the Markets Field as a result of the circumstances. The club secured their first competitive win with a 0-2 win against DLR Waves last weekend at UCD Bowl.

Below is the official statement from the club.
