Six Limerick players selected on Official GAA Teams of the Week

After both Senior Limerick sides had comprehensive weekend championship victories, six players across both squads are selected on the Teams of the Week.

It is the second week running that Limerick have six players chosen.

Iain Corbett’s role in helping Limerick to come away from the Fraher Fields with a 2-14 to 0-9 win sees him named at wing back on the football team.

It is the second consecutive week that Corbett has been named on the team.

After having four players named last week, Limerick have five representatives this week with each making their first appearance on the team of the week.

Each are new faces to the team as Dan Morrissey, Kyle Hayes, William O’Donoghue, Cian Lynch and Aaron Gillane are chosen.

Gillane was given the man of the match award on the day and is nominated for the Hurler of the Week gong.
