Six Munster players named in Irish squad to face England

Joe Schmidt has included six Munster players in his squad that will kick off the Six Nations against England on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium.

Keith Earls, Conor Murray, Peter O’Mahony and CJ Stander all make the starting XV, while Dave Kilcoyne and Joey Carbery are named on the bench.

The only real surprise in the side sees Robbie Henshaw named at full back. He is flanked on the wings by Earls and Jacob Stockdale.

Bundee Aki and Garry Ringrose are in the centre, with Murray partnered by Johnny Sexton at half back.

Rory Best will captain the team at hooker and is joined by Cian Healy and Tadhg Furlong in the front row.

It’s an all Leinster second row pairing of James Ryan and Devin Toner, while O’Mahony and Stander are joined by Josh van der Flier in the back row.

England have also named their lineup for the game which has a 4:45pm kick off and is live on Virgin Media.
