Something for the Weekend | Munster look to bounce back, Limerick take on Louth in NFL, Premier League and More

The Six Nations and National Hurling League has a break this weekend, but there is plenty of sport being played to keep our minds away from it!

This weekends sport fixtures have a little bit of something for everyone. There is GAA, Soccer, Rugby, Racing, Golf and more!

From a local interest point of view, Munster look to bounce back against Edinburgh after last weeks loss while the Limerick footballers face Louth.

Elsewhere, Premier league action resumes, Mayo take on Dublin and much more!

Friday:

In Rugby, Munster take on Edinburgh tonight at 7.35pm in Thomond Park while Cardiff vs Zebre has been postponed due to a red weather warning.

Soccer, Scottish Championship, Sky Bet Championship and the Serie A all kick off at 7.45pm with Dunfermline Athletic taking on Patrick Thistle, Bournemouth AFC against Nottingham Forest and finally Juventus vs Torino

In Golf, the US PGA tour carries on at 3pm at the Genesis open. Collin Morikawa is the favourite for this open.


Saturday:

Premier league action returns at 12:30 when West Ham take on Newcastle. Six premier league matches kick-off at 3 o’clock Arsenal, Aston Villa and Brighton take-on Brentford, Watford and Burnley at home. Chelsea, Norwich and Everton travel to Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Southampton.

Rounding off Saturday’s action Man City take on Tottenham at home.

In the URC, Leinster take on Ospreys at 5pm. Connacht travel to Scarlets while Glasgow take on Benetton Treviso both at 7.35pm.

Gaelic football: In division 1 Armagh host Monaghan while Dublin entertain Mayo with those games kicking off at 5:30 and 7:30 Respectively. Division 3 action resumes with Antrim taking on Wicklow at 2 o’clock. Fermanagh host Laois at 6 o’clock. In division 4, Carlow play Waterford at 7pm.

The Golf resumes again at 5pm in the Genesis Open.

As for live Horse Racing, there are meetings at Haydock, Wincanton and Gowran, with coverage starting at 12:30.

Sunday:

The Limerick footballers take centre stage on Sunday as they host Louth in the National Football League. Elsewhere, in Division 3, Westmeath play Longford at 2 o’clock.

Kerry and Donegal kick things off at 1:45 whilst Tyrone host Kildare 3:45 in Division One

Four Division Two games are due to throw-in mid-day. Cork travel to Derry at 1pm. Roscommon, Meath and Galway play Clare, Down and Offaly at 2pm.

In the Premier League, Leeds start super Sunday hosting Manchester United at 2pm. Wolves round off the premier league weekend hosting Leicester.

In the URC, Dragons take-on Ulster at 2pm in the only Rugby championship action of the day.

Finally, in division 4 London have to ravel to Leitrim for a 12 o’clock kick-off. The final two games kick-off at 2pm where Sligo meet Cavan and Wexford meet Tipperary.

The Genesis Open resumes again at 5pm.

There is live Racing from Newbury, Musselburgh, Navan and Meydan, Dubai, coverage starts at 1pm
