Something for the Weekend – Sport TV Listings

Unfortunately as we approach the end of January, the return of fans to sporting events still seems a way of.

However, there is a bumper weekend of live action on the television for sports fans to indulge in including the huge Pro 14 derby of Munster and Leinster, the Conference games in the NFL and the FA Cup.

Rugby

There is no doubt that the meeting of Munster and Leinster in the Guinness Pro 14 is the main attraction this weekend with the provinces to battle on Saturday night at 6.30pm.

Soccer

The FA Cup takes centre stage with the fourth round of the competition taking place this weekend including the clash of giants Liverpool and Manchester United. There is also one Premier League game on Saturday between Newcastle and Aston Villa.

The Superbowl pairing will be discovered on Sunday night/Monday morning with the AFC and NFC championship games in the National Football League.

Defending champion Kansas City Chiefs take on the Buffalo Billss while Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on Aaron Rodger’s Green Bay Packers in the NFC game.
