Sport on TV | What to watch over Christmas weekend

With Christmas fast approaching the world of sport is as busy as ever, and we have put together a guide on what to watch while relaxing this Christmas weekend!

There are seven live soccer games this weekend, with action televised from the Premier League, EFL Championship and the SPFL.

The Magpie Willie O’Connor takes part in Friday’s World Darts Championship, with both an afternoon and evening session televised on Sky Sports.

The action will continue through to Saturday at Alexandra Palace, before taking a brief Christmas break.

Ulster and Connacht serve up some festive rugby on Friday evening, with the tie to be televised on TG4 and BBC2.

There are also NBA and NFL servings to feast on.
