Sporting Limerick and the Limerick Leader will live stream Munster Senior Cup Final between Garryowen and UL Bohs

The game will be live streamed on Facebook tomorrow night

We at Sporting Limerick are teaming up with the Limerick leader to bring you live coverage of tomorrow night’s Senior Cup final between Garryowen and UL Bohemians.

There will be live commentary on the night from our own Raffaele Rocca as well as the Leader’s sports editor Donn O’Sullivan.

The Sky Blues, who hold the record for the most number of wins will be seeking their 39th title, while UL Bohemian’s last success was in 1962.

Both sides will be anxious for a win as they prepare to get their All Ireland campaigns back on track and a close contest can be expected.

Ahead of the final, Garryowen’s captain Neil Cronin spoke to the Munster website the importance of the clash and how much it would mean to win it

“It has been quite a successful season so far. We’ve had a good run in the league and we want to build on that in the final.

“We are delighted to be in the final of the Munster Senior Challenge Cup as it means a lot to everyone in the club.

“A huge amount of thanks must go to the committee and supporters at Garryowen, it’s because of them we as players get to represent such a proud and prestigious club week in and week out.

“Lastly, a sincere thanks to the coaches at Garryowen FC, so much work is needed from them to get us to this stage in the competition and we most definitely wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them.”

Bohs captain Ian Condell is also excited about the chance of getting their hands on silverware following a poor league campaign thus far.

“As a squad we are very much looking forward to playing in the Munster Senior Challenge Cup Final. We know how prestigious a trophy it is, and it has been a long time since our club raised the Cup, so it would be a great privilege to do so.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors and supporters so far this season, it is greatly appreciated and hopefully we can do them proud in the final.”
