The recovered from an early loss to Michael Glaveys of Roscommon before reaching the decider courtesy of a 25-7 victory over Na Fianna. However the Roscommon side would again prove to be their downfall in the final. Yet, they can be in no doubt that they played their part and will be back to challenge again in future.
