The Munster squad returned to training at the HPC on Monday after the weekend’s bonus-point win over Edinburgh at Thomond Park.
Craig Casey, Gavin Coombes and Dave Kilcoyne have returned to Ireland’s Six Nations camp ahead of their game against Italy on Sunday.
Along with the 23 players who lined out against Edinburgh, there were 15 senior and Greencore Munster Rugby Academy players in AIL action for their clubs.
On the injury front, Roman Salanoa will see a specialist to review an ankle injury having undergone a scan after featuring for Shannon on Saturday.
Keynan Knox, Josh Wycherley, Eoin O’Connor and Conor Phillips were in action for Young Munster in their 22-14 defeat to Clontarf with Wycherley among the tries.
Liam Coombes, Tony Butler, Mark Donnelly and Cian Hurley featured for Garryowen in the 18-17 loss to Terenure with Butler kicking two conversions and a penalty.
Alex McHenry was a try-scorer for Cork Constitution with Seán French on the wing for Con as they drew 31-all with Paddy Patterson’s UCD.
UCC duo James French and Scott Buckley lined out in their 19-9 loss to Ballynahinch.
In Division 1B, Salanoa helped Shannon to a 62-0 victory over Navan.
Kevin O’Byrne was in action for Highfield as they were beaten 30-3 by Old Wesley.
